Series Y LED street lights are modular designs. TYPE IS
If the Road width/pole height <1, we will recommend TYPE I.S means “short” , if pole distance/pole height<3, we will recommend S.
For example, we have a project in Thailand, using 7m pole for 6m width road(two lanes), and pole distance is 15m. We used 60W Series M,with TYPE IS photometric curves for this project.
TYPE II M
If the Road width/pole height =1-1.75, we will recommend TYPE II.M means “Medium” , if pole distance/pole height>3 but< 4, we will recommend Medium.
In Indonesia, we have one project, with 9m pole, and 14m road width(4 lanes), pole distance is 30m. We recommended 120W Series S with TYPE II M photometric curve.
TYPE III M
If the Road width/pole height =1.75-2.75, we will recommend TYPE III.M means “Medium” , if pole distance/pole height>3 but< 4, we will recommend Medium.
In Panama, we have one project, with 12m pole, and 23m road width(6 lanes), pole distance is 40m. We recommended 200W Series Y with TYPE III M.

We operate 13 tests for our street lights to ensure the quality and reliability. Blow is parts of them
It is to test the water-proof and dust proof rate for led lights. It will expose our lights to a rotary spray for minimum 10 minutes.
It is to test the impact resistance rate for led lights. The machine will carry out 3 repeated identical impacts for led lights.
Test the stability when lights work in hot environment. This tests is conducted in the constant temperature and humidity test chamber at about 40℃ for over 168hours.
All our LED lights will go through 6 hours aging test after assembly. This can help find the defected lights to make sure all the lights work well when our clients get them.
Test LED lights in the dark room to get the final lumen output and photometric curves. This will help us with the light design.
LED street light is one kind of outdoor lighting with LED light source. As the new energy saving lights, LED street lights have become the first choice when people purchase streetlights. LED street lights are more flexible to be equipped with smart controls, like photocell, motion sensor, dimming system, and CCTV monitoring.
The regular color temperature range for LED streetlights is 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, and 6000K. 3000k is yellow color, 4000K is warm white, 5000k is neutral white and 6000K is cool white.
Regularly 4000K and 5000K is more often used for LED streetlights, this range provides good color rendering and good visibility.
However, if there is a need to create more inviting ambiance, color temperature like 2700k or 3000K will also be used.
Ultimately, the choice of color temperature for LED street lights will depend on the intended use and clients’ demands.
The working voltage of LED street lights are depended on LED drivers. The typical operating voltages for LED streetlights are from 100-277VAC, while some LED drivers are narrow voltage from 220-240V.
It is crucial to know where the street lights are used. For example, if in USA, 1120-120VAC is required, while in most areas 220-240V is standard.

The installation height of streetlights regularly is from 6m to 14M. It mainly depends on the streets the light are used. What type of street is it? How is the width of the road? How is the surrounding environment and what is lux required?
Generally, for two lane streets, we will suggest 60-120W streetlights installed with 6m to 8m poles.
If it is main road with 4 lanes, 150-200W streetlights with 8m to 10m pole is more recommended.
And if it is higher ways, or main city roads with 6 or 8 lanes, 12m pole with over 200W streetlights is more suitable. It will provide better visibility over long distance.
However, it is very important to understand different regions and countries have their own standards regarding the installation, so it always need more professional support to get a comfortable level of lighting.

The regular pole distance between LED street lights is from 20 to 50 meters. But the distance can vary depending on several factors including the watt of LED lights, the road width, the pole height and the lighting requirement.
For a standard street lights layout, the pole distance should be 3 times the pole height. However, in daily use, the pole can not exactly follow this distance due to particular location. Thus we need to choose proper lighting distributions to get the best uniformity and light brightness for the road.

Yes, whether the street lights can be dimmed depends on the LED drivers we use. At most time, the led drivers we use for street lights are all with integrated dimming program.

Yes, it is possible to replace sodium led streetlights with LED.
If you have plenty budget, you can replace sodium streetlights with completely new LED street light fixtures. LED streetlight fixtures have better outlook, and is much brighter.
If you have limited budget, you can buy led modules and led driver, and replace the old light source and electrical parts. Many suppliers are making replacing modules, so you can find one for your designs.
If your budget is very limited, and the sodium street light is not big watt, you can buy led bulbs with E40 or E27 socket for replacement.

Theoretically, the lifelong time of led light source is 50000hours, if the light is working 8 hours per night, the lifetime of led street lights can be 17years.
For electrical components like led drivers, the warranty time is 5 years, so for the whole fixture, we are also giving 5 year warranty.
